Items Required During The Interview

The primary purposes of an interview is for the agent to determine if an individual made pertinent observations of an incident or event, which may provide useful information to the attorney. The secondary purpose flows with the first, which is to obtain a witness statement if and only if the witness does have relevant information, which will provide information that will help bring into focus the true facts regarding the incident.

Once the witness gives us permission to record the interview, our agents will ask the witness to state the following on record at the start of the interview:

• Name and occupation

• Time, date and location where the interview is being taken

Our agents must also state the following at the start of the interview.

• Agent must state their name

• Agent must state the name of the witness

• Agent must state that the witness has given consent to record the interview

• Agent must make sure that the witness verbalizes their answers

• Agent must mention nature of the interview; i.e. auto-accident, location, time/date, etc.

If you are in need of a South Florida Witness Statement / Interview Agent, please contact us at ASITeam@bellsouth.net or by phone at (954) 752-7138.
